SEK El Castillo is looking to hire an IB MYP & DP Mathematics Teacher for the end of August.

Functions:
- Teach Mathematics at both MYP and DP levels, in accordance with the IB curriculum frameworks and assessment criteria.
- Design and implement inquiry-based units that promote conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and real-world application of mathematical knowledge.
- Foster the development of mathematical skills including reasoning, problem-solving, and communication through a balanced and differentiated approach.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including MYP eAssessment and DP examinations (AA or AI), ensuring alignment with IB standards and practices.
- Integrate technology and digital tools effectively to enhance mathematical exploration and student engagement.
- Provide timely, constructive, and formative feedback to support student growth and self-assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary planning and contribute to cross-curricular learning experiences.
- Promote the IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills within the mathematics classroom.
- Participate in professional development and stay updated on IB curriculum developments and best practices in mathematics education.
- Contribute to the positive culture of the school, supporting student well-being, inclusion, and international-mindedness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
