Close cooperation with INDIRECT TAX team in Warsaw/KL in ensuring that all such as sales tax per unit tax, value added tax (VAT), or goods and services tax (GST) will be submitted correctly and paid on time.

Drives discipline in issue resolution, requires escalation intervention if need be.

In this role you will be responsible for: VAT Master data set up (new tax codes) Registration with Tax authorities Review and approval of Indirect Tax related activities performed by the Indirect Tax Team in Warsaw/KL Timely submission of Indirect Tax returns Flag any Indirect Tax Local regulation changes with direct impact on the process to the Indirect Tax Team in Warsaw/ KL Maintain Tax Master data in case of law changes & Local regulatory requirements with the help of the Indirect Tax Team in Warsaw/ KL Provide guidelines and framework for taxes country specific to Indirect Tax Team in Warsaw/ KL Liaison with tax authorities and tax auditors Identifies training needs and organizes Indirect Tax related trainings or facilitates access to training materials for building capability Actively involved in Indirect Tax related metrics reporting review to enable timely corrective actions and future process improvement On need base, helps roll out the indirect tax changes No SAP posting access Follow the RACI spilt of responsibilities Fluent in English ( Tax specific) Ensure tax specific guidance and support to non-tax specialists in VAT-critical operational roles such as procurement, logistics and accounting

Regular Monthly Tasks:
Review/check VAT reports/ declaration ( Intrastat, ESL/EPL, Import VAT) prepared by Indirect Tax Team in Warsaw/ KL
Submission of VAT/VAT UE return forms
Submission Intrastat, ESL/EPL form (if applicable)
Ensure timely payment of Indirect taxes
Prepare other indirect tax reports (if applicable)
Support with SAFT preparation
Answer all questions and clarify issues raised by Tax Authorities

Regular Quarterly Tasks:
Timely and accurately input for the Indirect Tax section in the SEC reporting Pack (VAT area)
Regular Annually Tasks
Discusses materiality issues with external auditors and advises on the accuracy of provisions

Fixed-Term Contract: 6 Months

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’d love to see candidates who have:
Indirect tax knowledge ( 2 to 3 year experience in the Indirect tax field)
Fluency in English and Spanish both written and oral
Strong Excel skills
SII administrator
Knowledge on SAP ERP
Ability to use analytical thinking and logic to isolate and resolve issues in a timely manner
Able to handle / prioritize task and workload
Ability to learn new applications/software systems
Strong communication skills
Team player and able to work independently as well
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
