Eurovision Services is seeking a highly motivated Ingest Operator to be part of our Production Hub, based in Madrid.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION
As an Ingest Operator, you will be responsible for recording, playing, transcoding and exporting all feeds coming in and out of the Production Hub. in detail, your main responsibilities will be:
- Prepare the day ahead, ensuring correct resource allocation.
- Switch video sources and check their quality and integrity.
- Define and follow signal workflows.
- Coordinate with third parties to ensure the quality and content of the feeds is correct.
- Schedule and operate the IP video recording system in place.
- Export and upload the different contents to dedicated platforms, ensuring the systems are left in optimal conditions for the next activities.
- Report back to the MCR Supervisor and Service Manager in case of issues.
- Keep track of incidents and document them on the designated platform.
- Provide outstanding customer service to all clients (internal and external).
- Work on shifts, including weekends, overnight and on-call coverage on a rotating basis.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in a similar role, operating live ingest systems.
- Experience with EVS XT/XS Via and IP Director is required.
- Proficiency in handling live ingest workflows, with experience on EVS XT/XS-Via and IP Director.
- Excellent knowledge of encoder production formats.
- Excellent knowledge of ST 2110 workflows and operations.
- Proficiency in FTP and Aspera file management.
- Solid knowledge of video and audio standards compliance.
- Solid knowledge of video and audio formats.
- Familiarity with live production hub workflows, including coordination with on-site and remote departments.
- Knowledge of incident reporting methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
- Strong stress management and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate in a team.
- Service-oriented mindset.
- Effective communication with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Proficiency in Spanish (mandatory)
- Required level of English: minimum intermediate.
