As the IT Production Application Expert at PowerCo, you will be focused on supporting the department of Quality. Your role is pivotal in managing and enhancing the industrial application landscape to ensure seamless and efficient operations in these critical areas, always aligned with PowerCo SE IT strategy and directions.
- Manage and optimize IT applications that support quality control processes, such as Siemens Teamcenter, CAQ , LIMS, etc. Ensure software configuration and development meets PowerCo Spain requirements
- Ensure that quality systems are sucessfully integrated through the necessary interfaces and connection protocols with other production applications and shopfloor machines/devices.
- Manage and optimize the operation and maintenance of critical online production systems, ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the strategic IT roll-out, implementation, and upgrades of production applications, aligning IT architecture/development/etc. with business objectives and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with production and IT teams to translate operational requirements into effective IT solutions, enhancing overall production efficiency.
- Proactively integrate the latest technologies into our IT strategy and implementations
- Develop and implement comprehensive control plans and establish and maintain a robust failure catalogue.
- Promote a proactive quality culture with best practices, preparing and improving documentation, reporting, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT production applications, focusing on development, architecture, rollout of systems and supplier quality assurance.
- Experience with Quality tools (FMEA, Problem Solving, Defect Catalog) and Quality shopfloor devices and testbenches
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and external regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing IT applications in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of shopfloor operations, MES, SCADA, and other related technologies.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in mentoring and leading IT teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to integrating new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- English is a must, German desirable.
