The internal consultant will be primarily responsible for implementing and providing support related to manufacturing logistics, master data related to product engineering, production, quality and planning areas of the corporate ERP.

The internal consultant will be primarily responsible for supporting, implementing, and providing support related to the areas mentioned above for corporate ERP. He/she will analyze the systems and work directly with business process owners, subject matter experts and management team to define system requirements, design and propose solutions, configure the software, and train employees.

Write design specifications based on business requirements (functional design documents).

Customizing manufacturing logistics, (product engineering) master data, production, quality, and planning modules making sure the system reacts in the manner according to the constraints of the requested use case / requirement.

Take care that a proper training is given to the end users and the system is usable.

Ensure the blueprints remain usable and consistent with the new changes.

Challenge the business and propose changes based on new business scenarios.

Participate actively in new system rollouts.

Provide insight to operations teams on global best practices and methods.

Conduct and facilitate functional workshops.

Experience with ERP systems.

Base knowledge: manufacturing logistics, (product engineering) master data, production, quality, and planning/MRP (high knowledge about planning is not required).

Knowledge about cost management (standard cost, costing sheet) is not mandatory but it will be appreciated.

Understanding of these business processes (from conceptual point of view): make to order, make to stock, process manufactruing, discrete manufacturing, sales and operations planning and quality management.
