As a Junior Breeder Cucumber you will play a key role in developing new varieties. Your main responsibilities include:

- Observing, evaluating, and selecting in breeding and screening trials.
- Recording, processing, and analyzing breeding and screening data.
- Planning, preparing, and executing breeding project activities.
- Collaborating with an experienced team while working independently on assigned tasks.
- Contributing to a new and data-driven breeding program.
You will be part of the Cucumber Breeding team, reporting to the Breeder.
What you bring as a future colleague
- A Bachelor’s or MSc degree in Applied Biology or Plant Science.
- A passion for plant breeding and data-driven breeding methods.
- Strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A results-oriented mindset with perseverance.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
- Willingness to travel a few times per year.
