We are looking for an experienced and talented Legal Counsel to provide legal advice regarding Rakuten TV´s activities in the field of Advertising Technology and Connected TV, delivering expert legal guidance on a wide range of issues related to AdTech, data privacy, advertising regulation, and commercial agreements.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on all aspects of advertising technology for an OTT platform providing timely and actionable advice.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including ad sales contracts, partnerships agreements, technology licensing agreements, and vendor agreements.
- Advise on compliance with data privacy laws and other applicable regulations in relation to advertising activities.
- Advise on and ensure compliance with IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) standards, guidelines, and best practices for digital advertising, including ad creative specifications, data usage policies, and transparency initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in advertising law, technology, and industry best practices, and provide proactive guidance to the business on emerging legal issues.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues related to advertising, content regulation, and intellectual property.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel on specialized matters as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Law Degree. Specialization in IP/Technology law is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal counsel specializing in advertising, Connected TV, or AdTech, preferably in an in-house setting.
- In-depth knowledge of advertising law, data privacy laws, content regulation, and intellectual property law.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad serving technologies, programmatic advertising, and data analytics.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working internationally, across different time zones.
- Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is essential. Proficiency in French is a plus.
