The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and satisfaction of guests at the hotel’s swimming pool. This role is essential in providing a safe and relaxing environment through constant supervision, enforcement of safety protocols, and prompt response to any emergency situation. The Lifeguard also works closely with other departments to ensure compliance with the hotel’s operational and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the swimming pool, observing guest behavior and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Respond immediately in emergency situations: perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as needed.

• Assess the safety conditions of the pool area and activate emergency protocols when necessary.

• Maintain cleanliness and order in the pool area, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests.

• Inform and advise guests on proper use of the pool and safety rules.

• Report any technical issue or accident to the appropriate department.

• Participate in regular training sessions on rescue techniques, first aid, and safety procedures.

• Collaborate with the security team and other departments to ensure a smooth and safe guest experience.

• 
  Hold a valid Lifeguard certification, with up-to-date CPR and first aid training.

• Previous experience as a lifeguard, preferably in hotel or recreational environments.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.

• Good physical condition and ability to work in outdoor environments and high-temperature conditions.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written. Additional languages are a plus.
