We were founded with a simple vision: to help european businesses compete fairly in the European market by connecting them with verified buyers and handling the complex work of logistics, payments and compliance.
Role overview
As a Logistics Manager for BizAssist Global SL in Valencia, you will act as a key representative of Thokmandee’s marketplace. Your primary mission being to solve logistics challenges for our vendors and buyers.
This means, negotiating with a range of logistics partners,large and small, local and regional: to secure competitive pricing and efficient service.
You’ll maintain close relationships with these providers, manage incoming orders, optimise our internal processes, and build a local logistics team over time.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate and find the best prices and services from logistics/delivery companies and warehouses in Slovakia and nearby countries. Build good relationships with these partners to ensure our sellers and buyers get reliable service.
- Manage all incoming shipping orders, make sure paperwork is done correctly, and solve any problems quickly.
- Look for ways to improve our shipping processes to save time, reduce costs, and increase accuracy. Work with other teams to fix any problems that sellers or buyers report.
- Hire, train and manage staff who process orders and coordinate deliveries. Coach them regularly and encourage everyone to keep improving.
- Be the main contact person for all shipping questions. Share updates and negotiate better terms with service providers on behalf of our sellers and buyers.
- Make sure all shipping operations follow EU and Spanish laws, and prepare regular reports for management.
Skills and qualifications
- Experience in logistics, supply chain management or freight forwarding, preferably within e‑commerce or wholesale.
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships with diverse logistics partners.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; comfortable supervising administrative and clerical processes.
- Ability to analyse and optimise operations; familiarity with logistics software and basic data reporting.
- Leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Fluency in English and any other european language is a plus.
