The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that asset conditions are safe, compliant with regulations, efficient, and sustainable to support production and business supply. This role oversees the daily maintenance and repair activities, modifications, improvements, and/or new construction of production facilities, energy installations, and buildings, aiming to achieve the required technical and operational readiness and facility reliability.
About The Role: Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Management
Plans and supervises maintenance, repairs, and modifications to ensure efficiency and safety.
Supports equipment setup and adjustments for complex product and format changes.
Leads internal and external maintenance teams, ensuring safety and timely execution.
- Troubleshooting
Resolves basic mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in production and utility systems.
Identifies root causes of failures and determines the need for third-party intervention.
Ensures immediate or escalated repair actions to minimize downtime.
- Preventive/Planned Maintenance
Designs and executes preventive maintenance programs and inspections.
Reports critical findings and addresses imminent defects when possible.
Plans and ensures timely corrective maintenance based on inspection results.
- Continuous Improvement
Participates in evaluating and recommending new tools, equipment, and processes.
Supports the adoption of maintenance best practices (e.g., TPM, AM, PM).
Contributes to enhancing production and maintenance capabilities.
- Compliance
Ensures adherence to safety, quality, operational, and health regulations.
Manages spare parts inventory and consumption levels for compliance.
Monitors safety practices, including ATEX, working at heights, LOTOTO, and confined spaces.
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
At least 4-5 years of previous experience in a similar role and leading teams.
Previous experience working in multinational environments and production plants.
Ability to work fluently in Spanish and English.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, collaborative and analytical.
