The EBMT is a non-profit medical and scientific organisation which hosts a unique patient registry providing a pool of data to perform studies and assess new trends.

Your mission:
Lead the execution of EBMT’s strategy and operations under the Executive Committee’s guidance, ensuring organizational alignment, performance, accountability, and continuous improvement across all units and stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Strategy Implementation: Ensure all units align with and execute EBMT’s scientific and operational strategy under the Executive Committee’s direction.- Cross-Unit Alignment: Drive collaboration across units and monitor KPIs to maintain strategic progress.
- Strategic Planning: Actively engage in planning activities within the PMO to implement approved strategies.
- Internal Communication: Clearly communicate strategic goals to internal stakeholders to foster transparency and engagement.
- Staff Representation: Serve as the main liaison between EBMT staff and leadership bodies to represent staff interests.
- Operational Planning & Risk Management: Lead resource planning and risk mitigation efforts under Executive Committee and PMO oversight.
- Financial Oversight: Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Reporting: Deliver timely updates on operational and strategic progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure alignment with EBMT’s strategy and maintain continuity.
- Innovation & Impact: Promote innovation and data-driven decisions to enhance EBMT’s scientific influence.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to boost organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Revenue Support: Assist with revenue-generating activities as part of broader PMO responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent English both spoken and written.
- Master's degree or MBA in Business Administration
- Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, Medicine or any scientific-related field in the EBMT.
- More than 15 years of work experience in Management or similar positions with the latest 5 years in a Senior Leadership role.
- Experience in strategic planning, financial management, and organisational growth.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage global or regional level assignments and projects.
- Strong experience in overseeing complex projects using formal project management methodologies (e.g.: PMP, Agile)
- Experience working in international / multicultural organisations.
- Knowledge of international and EU legislation and regulations related to the EBMT.
- Advanced capabilities in data analysis and business reporting.
- Proficient leadership skills with a focus on fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and research skills.

Desirable
- Knowledge of Dutch, Spanish and French is highly valued. Experience working with boards in a non-profit context.

- Full-time position and indefinite contract (37.5 hours).
- Flexible working hours (starting from 8 to 10 am and finish accordingly).
- 26 days of vacation per year.
- Salary: 85.000 – 110.000 gross/euros year (depending on the experience)
