ARQUIMEA, we are a technology company operating globally and providing innovate solutions and products in highly demanding sectors.
Our areas of activity are Aerospace, Defense & Security, Big Science, Biotechnology and Fintech.
ARQUIMEA Research Center (ARC), part of ARQUIMEA , was born in 2019 with the aim of inventing the technologies of tomorrow. An environment of innovation and excellence at European level from which senior and junior researchers from around the world develop disruptive technologies and business models that will serve as an engine of socio-economic growth in the medium and long term.
We are looking for a curious, sharp-minded Market Intelligence Researcher to join our Market Intelligence Team. You’ll be embedded in the heart of our R&D ecosystem, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and scientists to influence the technologies, uncover emerging needs, and explore future markets.
Tasks to be performed:
- Decode and Anticipate the Future: Track, analyze, and synthesize trends in AI, quantum sensors technologies, biotech, cybersecurity, and robotics.
- Map Opportunity Landscapes: Develop market reports for go/no-go decisions, scout startups, identify high-impact use cases, and define entry points for emerging technologies and future needs.
- Collect Feedback & Discover the Unseen: Your role will involve talking with end users to validate our initial hypotheses and uncover insights that inform the direction of our technologies. This includes collecting feedback on the MVPs we build, which plays a critical role in validating the solutions and guiding iteration, improvement, or strategic shifts as needed.
- Translate Tech to Market: Help our deep tech teams connect their breakthroughs to real-world needs, customers, and economic value.
- Challenge the Status Quo: Bring a critical eye to what we build—and why.
Required skills, experience and candidate profile:
-
3–5 years of experience in market intelligence, startups, R&D, market research, consulting, or strategic intelligence—ideally in tech.
- A graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus (Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing…)
- Strong understanding (or deep interest) in at least one of our core focus areas: AI, quantum sensor tech, robotics, cybersecurity, or biotech.
- Passion for talking with people to understand their needs, motivations, and pain points.
- Able to multitask, work autonomously, and navigate ambiguity.
- Problem-solving mindset and critical thinking.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus.
