Position description:
We are looking for a native English teacher to deliver dynamic and engaging after-school activities for children in kindergarten and primary school. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering sessions that encourage speaking, vocabulary building, and language comprehension in a fun and motivating environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Design and deliver age- and level-appropriate activities in English.
- Motivate students to improve their fluency and confidence in the language.
- Prepare creative materials and resources for lessons.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress and participation.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker or C2-level equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching English to children.
- Ability to lead groups and use active learning methodologies.
- Availability in the afternoons (approx. 4:30 – 6:00 pm).
- Based in Barcelona or nearby.
Valuable assets:
- TEFL, CELTA, or similar teaching qualifications.
- Experience in after-school programs or summer camps.
