PEGA Systems Architect (SA/SSA)

At Izertis we are currently seeking a PEGA Systems Architect (SA/SSA) to support the design, development, and lifecycle management of a Customer Service front-end application for a prestigious client in the luxury sector.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions using PEGA Platform 8. You will also play a key role in the support and continuous improvement of the application, including issue diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution across various technical layers.

You will report to the Technical Team Lead, with additional guidance from the Platform Technical Lead and Lead System Architect (LSA) for complex or platform-wide topics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and manage assigned tickets throughout the full development cycle: requirements analysis, development, unit testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Investigate system issues and proactively recommend improvements to enhance functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to scope and estimate development efforts.
• Leverage internal and external resources to provide accurate technical solutions, and contribute to knowledge sharing by enriching the internal knowledge base.
• Engage with cross-functional teams (e.g., PEGA developers, front-end developers, Scrum Masters, QA, architects) to drive operational efficiency and process improvement.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives) and maintain task statuses in JIRA and/or ServiceNow.
• Promote and apply development best practices within the team and product.
• Foster a customer-centric approach, cultivating trust and transparency with stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a PEGA SA or SSA, with demonstrated project delivery.

• PEGA Platform 8.
• REST APIs and Postman.
• Event-driven architectures.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• JavaScript and Python.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, including JIRA and ServiceNow.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and spoken (English fluency required).
• Comfortable working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
• Willingness to learn complementary technologies such as SAP and Salesforce.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SAP ERP, Datadog, and collaboration tools like Confluence, Miro.
• Experience with OpenAPI, OAuth2, HTTP, and WebComponents.
• Proactive, structured, and capable of translating complex technical details into simple, actionable insights.
