We are currently looking for a Powder Planning Analyst to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain.
The Planning Analyst is responsible for supporting the supply chain planning teams by ensuring the correct and regular master data and planning parameters maintenance, the correct execution of reporting activities and promoting the continuous improvement of supply planning processes within the designated scope of Axalta business segments.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure Data Accuracy & Governance: Support and guide planning teams in maintaining accurate, consistent, and timely master data in line with Axalta’s data governance model.
- Lead Data Cleanup & Integrity Efforts: Initiate and monitor data cleanup activities, ensuring compliance with master data standards and improving data quality through proactive analysis.
- Manage Master Data Changes: Oversee updates related to product transfers and intercompany replenishment, acting as the primary contact for master data process changes.
- Develop & Maintain Reporting Tools: Create, audit, and maintain KPI and business reports; provide training and support to planning teams on reporting tools and processes.
- Support Forecasting & Planning Cycles: Ensure accurate data input for the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle, particularly for intercompany export requirements.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance planning processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement best practices across teams.
- Enhance Team Capabilities: Educate planners on effective use of planning systems and business intelligence tools to improve performance.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with various departments to standardize processes, optimize workflows, and support quality audits and business projects.
Key requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certifications and project management experience are a plus.
- Experience & Industry Knowledge: Minimum 5 years in supply chain planning (demand, supply, or production) within a global environment, with strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Language Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Systems Knowledge: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; extensive experience with SAP and other advanced planning systems.
- Skills: Strong analytical mindset with excellent numerical skills, data visualization capabilities, and a focus on data-driven decision-making. Collaborative, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage large data volumes effectively.
