MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Manage product design and Lessons Learned implementation.
- Support design for manufacturing, cost and durability improvement.
- Responsible for prototypes manufacturing phase.
- Follow up PCP, prototypes quality and Lessons Learned collection.
- Problem solving.
- Relationship and negotiation with the Client (analysis of technical requirements, etc.).
- Project Risk Analysis.
- Analyze simulation and test results.
- Support to DVP&R and its alignment with the Project schedule.
- Support Application Engineering teams.
- Additionally, the functions associated with the Quality and EHS system as outlined in annex DG.18.1.1.
REQUIRED TITLE AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, simulations and/or testing, or application engineering positions.
- Internal management IT systems (MS Office, experience with FEM/CFD simulation software and SAP is valued).
- Quality Tools: experience with APQP and FMEA is valued.
- Quality Systems according to ISO standards.
- Experience launching prototypes and working with the prototypes workshop.
- Experience in FEM simulations and/or durability testing is valued.
- Experience in life and fatigue calculations of materials is valued.
- Language: High level of English/Spanish is essential, other languages are valued.
