Our research lines focus on the newly-discovered physical and chemical properties that arise from the behaviour of matter at the nanoscale. Job Title: Research Support Technician
Research area or group: Nanostructured Materials for Photovoltaic Energy
Description of Group/Project:
The person will be incorporated in a research team working in a public-private collaboration project with the aim to develop novel nanostructured/nanopatterned photovoltaics using third generation solar energy materials. The project includes a first part for the assessment of the technical viability of the fabrication of the innovative films, and a second part consisting in their integration in a solar cell.
Main Tasks and responsibilities:
- Developing nanofabrication processes and plans for nanopatterns
- Performing experiments in nanofabrication facilities
- Deposition of solar active materials
- Characterization of solar cell performance
- Reporting experimental data
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge and Professional Experience:
Technical background in (engineering, physics, chemistry...)

Summary of conditions:
