We are seeking an SAP Authorization Administrator to strengthen our global IT team. In this role, you will manage SAP authorizations and roles across our worldwide systems, ensuring users have the correct access rights while protecting critical data and applications. You will be at the forefront of maintaining security, compliance, and efficiency within Symrise’s SAP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage SAP roles and profiles across platforms such as ECC and S/4HANA.
Monitor and maintain SAP system security, including user access, authorizations, and issue analysis.
Perform security administration on the SAP Support Portal and support user license management, including annual measurements.
Manage daily administration of SAP systems, data security, and bolt-on tool security in line with IT Security framework.
Maintain and update active SAP systems, ensuring accurate role definitions and authorization checks.
Process access requests for SAP systems (including GRC), covering privilege access and user access reviews.
Develop, maintain, and enforce SAP security policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Deliver user training on SAP authorization guidelines and best practices.
Provide support for authorization incidents, troubleshooting, audits, and risk assessments.
About you

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in SAP authorization and role administration, ideally with SAP GRC.
Strong knowledge of SAP security policies, compliance, and best practices.
Professional, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
Strong analytical, prioritization, and time management skills.
Ability to learn new concepts quickly, take initiative, and work independently.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a global, multicultural team.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) required; German or Spanish is an advantage
