To meet this challenge we are extending our GLOBE Service Line team in our Barcelona Hub to deliver technology services to our business.

We are looking for a SAP Development Technical Lead with strong experience in providing consulting support for custom development and support governance within SAP. Key responsibilities

Industrialize and sustain SAP development technologies. Evaluate, implement and promote new SAP technologies and techniques in coding area (such as domain driven development, clean core, ABAP Cloud, RAP, Gen AI, etc.).

Act as the main point of contact for all technical related questions, support and consulting requests regarding SAP technologies in coding area.

Act as Clean Core Advocate for code quality. Promote, define and maintain processes and procedures to achieve a clean core in coding area.

Follow and improve the development best practices and QA processes, provide a valuable input to the development guidelines and continuously improve them.

Interact with multiple offshore development teams, providing them feedback on their work performed based on Development KPIs, tends, best practices and receiving reporting on the regular basis.

Provide support to other teams and perform code quality and effort estimation samplings

Understand complex functional business requirements and translate them into simple solutions based on full set of SAP technologies.

Support/contribute to prototypes, technical architecture.

Education and experience
-
10+ years’ experience of software development
-
Excellent knowledge of software design and architecture
-
Demonstrate expertise in S/4HANA Brownfield and Greenfield conversions

Good knowledge of the following technologies

SAP ABAP/BTP
-
SAP HANA Modelling, XS-C, XS-A

SAP UI5 / Fiori
-
Broad experience/knowledge of other software development technologies

Proven experience in managing and leading small teams or projects

Fluent in English both written and spoken

Outstanding communication and presentation abilities

Ability to work autonomously, well organised

Pragmatic and open minded

Passionate about technologies

Strong decision making and judgment skills (ability to make logical, pragmatic and structured decisions)
