What You Will Do
- Assist in Supplier Selection -Support the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Order Processing - Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Inventory Management - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Vendor Communication - Maintain effective communication with suppliers to track order status and resolve any issues.
- Market Research - Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends.
- Documentation - Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
- Support Negotiations - Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Collaboration - Work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MSD procurement software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent English speaker.
