Role Overview
As a Senior Cabling Technician, you will lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of Cat6/Cat6A and fibre optic cabling systems across a range of operational settings. This role involves taking responsibility for on-site coordination, mentoring less experienced technicians, and ensuring that work is delivered to a consistently high standard. A strong working knowledge of network infrastructure, combined with a proactive and organised approach, is essential. There may be a requirement to attend a full pre-employment medical in some countries across Europe. This will be carried out during the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead installation and testing of Cat6, Cat6A, and/or fibre optic cabling across a variety of environments
- Interpret technical drawings and method statements to plan and execute work effectively
- Act as a point of contact for Chargehands and Foremen
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety standards and site protocols
- Mentor and support junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency in their work
Essential Requirements:
- Right to Work in the EU is essential: Must have an EU passport.
- Willingness to travel across the EU as required.
- Significant experience installing and testing copper and fibre cabling, ideally within data centres or similarly complex environments
- Proven ability to work independently
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety procedures in construction or technical environments
- Pre-employment medical may be required.
- Must have a current Safe Pass or be willing to get one before commencing employment
- Certification in Working at Heights, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) or Hoist Operator training are an advantage but not essential.
