To support our growth and structure our technological vision, at Netenders, we are expanding our tech team and looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive the technical execution of our projects, lead our developers, and optimize our web platform to support our growth.
As a Tech Lead, you will be in charge of the following:
Lead and coordinate the Tech Team
- Guide, mentor, and support the development team in their daily activities.
- Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and development methodologies.
- Help structure workflows and improve development processes (agile, sprints, code reviews).
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to align tech priorities.
Optimize Website Performance
- Enhance site speed, scalability, and security.
- Improve Core Web Vitals and overall performance metrics.
- Optimize APIs, database interactions, and backend services.
Improve User Experience & Personalization
- Contribute to the development of advanced personalization features (recommendations, A/B testing).
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance the customer journey and maximize conversion rates.
- Support the optimization of search engine functionality and navigation.
Contribute to Mobile Development
- Collaborate on the development and optimization of the mobile app.
- Ensure a consistent and seamless experience between web and mobile.
- Monitor mobile KPIs and suggest improvements.
Support the Product & Tech Roadmap
- Participate in defining the technical roadmap in coordination with the Product team.
- Contribute to key technical decisions and help assess the impact of new developments.
- Monitor technical KPIs and recommend improvements.
To succeed, you need:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within e-commerce.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and a strong understanding of modern web architectures.
- Experience in scalability and web performance optimization.
- Experience in tech team management and project management.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI challenges and conversion optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to react quickly and efficiently.
- Experience in mobile app development and optimization, as well as in advanced personalization solutions (AI, machine learning, product recommendations) are a plus.
