Job Description
Our Body & Components department has great projects ahead with a client in Martorell (Barcelona). So if you want to join the team, keep reading:
The responsibilities:
You will be part of a team dedicated to perform testing projects for IDIADA's clients. In particular, for testing projects related to body and body parts of vehicles.
You will develop her/his duties working as resident engineer at IDIADA's client premises located in Barcelona (Spain).
Within the testing projects she/he is going to be involved and responsible for the coordination and evaluation of the testing activities of the project. Among others, her /his main duties will consist of:
- As member of IDIADA's project team, collaborate with the team and keep informed to IDIADA's project leader.
- Collaborate with the client in the coordination activities of the experimentation, preparing and monitoring the test schedules.
- Supervise the level control of the piece to be tested at all times and its supply, with the support of the client and its suppliers.
- Participate in the preparation of the tests, preparing checklists and collaborating in the preparation of the test samples.
- Monitoring and information on any incident during the execution of the tests.
- Documentation, analysis and communication of the test results to the client.
- Participate in the necessary project follow-up meetings with the client and rest of IDIADA's team.
- Keep a constant control of the evolution of the project, possible delays in planning, results of experimentation, proposals for countermeasures in the event of negative experimental results, etc.
Qualifications
Preferible, mechanical engineer degree.
Experience (1 year minimum) in the automotive sector working in development and testing projects related to body and body parts.
Communication and presentation skills for both internal and external customers.
Ability to be a team player and to work individually.
Flexible, analytical, multi-tasking, strong problem solving, reasoning and critical thinking skills.
Effective documentation and organizational skills based on results, solutions and tasks to drive outcomes.
Fluent in Spanish and English (Speaking and writing).
Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
Travelling is required but not often.
