About the role

We’re looking for an analytical, hands-on Treasury Intern who can jump straight into the day-to-day of our Treasury team and help us clear a growing operational backlog while pushing forward key automation projects. Reporting to the Head of Treasury, you’ll get first-row exposure to our cash-management workflows, fintech tooling, and decision-making processes that keep seQura’s €120 M ARR engine running.


What challenges you'll be solving

  • Recover hidden cash by chasing bounced refunds, uncollected revenues, merchant disconnections & outstanding transfer payments and reconciling discrepancies and proactively trigger debt-collection actions.

  • Define & document our Accounts Receivable (AR) protocol, mapping end-to-end AR processes, flag gaps, and propose controls to prevent future leakages.

  • Supplier Master Data Management: gather and validate contracts, bank confirmations, tax IDs, and other mandatory data to lay the groundwork for Purchase Orders and automated AP.

  • Daily treasury operations include managing the Treasury Management System (TMS), reviewing cash forecasts and actuals, issuing integration fee invoices, confirming merchant collections, and maintaining clean, up-to-date dashboards.

  • Automation & reporting, by supporting the rollout of new automations that eliminate manual uploads, and produce crisp reports/presentations that give management clear visibility into cash positions, KPIs, and blockers.

What you’ll need

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Solid Excel & Office skills - any exposure to ERPs, TMS or AP/AR platforms is a plus.

  • Fluent Spanish and intermediate English are required

  • A proactive, ownership-first mindset - you spot issues, dig for root causes, and don’t wait to be told what to do.

  • Organised & detail-oriented approach with strict respect for confidentiality (you’ll handle sensitive bank data).

  • Genuine curiosity for fintech operations and eagerness to streamline processes through automation.
