PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Mestalla is the irrigation ditch that unites our stadiums. It gives its name to the old stadium and also runs through the new one. It not only connects the past and the future, but is a symbol of continuity, keeping the essence and tradition of the club alive. Thus, the Nou Mestalla will not only be the stadium of the future but also show the legacy of our history. A stadium designed for all types of events, with first-class VIP experiences and a huge variety of spaces available, with which to elevate the city of Valencia to the next level.

As an extension of the Valencia CF team, our sales experts will work diligently with Valencia CF management and staff to create custom solutions and programs that drive record breaking revenue for the opening of the Nou Mestalla. Legends is proud to represent and support Valencia CF during this historic moment for the club and the city.
THE ROLE
The VIP Sales Representative will be responsible for driving significant contractual revenue across premium products including palcos, loges, and VIP seats at the Nou Mestalla. You’ll receive best-in-class sales training, coaching, tools, and technology to surpass sales targets as you play a starring role in the transformation of Valencia’s stadium. In addition to helping current Valencia CF clients secure VIP seating, you’ll execute sophisticated outbound new business campaigns to drive premium sales revenue.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the VIP Sales Representative responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:
- Generate significant premium revenue by successfully prospecting, pitching, and closing comprehensive six and seven figure agreements to current clients, C-Level executives and/or key decision makers of corporations, and high net worth individuals.
- Sell a full menu of premium hospitality products including palcos, loges and VIP seats via outbound calls, emails, face-to-face appointments, sales center presentations, and stadium tours.
- Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including but not limited to: networking events, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners/lunches, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games and outside meetings.
- Execute and lead dynamic sales presentations and face-to-face appointments at the Valencia CF sales center and throughout the community.
- Work closely with the Valencia CF hospitality team and Legends service team to ensure clients receive superior service and complete fulfillment of every contract detail.
- Consistently and effectively manage a robust sales pipeline while providing updates and forecasts to Legends management
- Utilizes CRM system to consistently manage accounts, pipelines, and touchpoint activity while following sales processes diligently
- Exceed daily, weekly, and annual individual sales goals and meeting targets
- Clearly and effectively communicate personally and professionally within all levels of a company, both internally and externally
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s Degree required - Business, Marketing or similar degree (B.A.) from a four-year college, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Minimum of three plus (3+) years in sales experience; prior experience selling six and seven figure premium hospitality deals in sports & entertainment is strongly preferred.
- History of top premium/B2B revenue production for a sport and/or entertainment organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
- Exceptional organization, time management, and pipeline management skills
- Skilled in setting and running sales meetings, with ability to effectively pitch and present premium products.
- Deep knowledge of the corporate sector and demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in the market.
- Local market community and corporate knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and possess an optimistic team-first mentality.
- Due to the nature of this role, the candidate must be willing to work non-traditional hours and weekends.
- Language skills: Spanish and English are required, Valencià is a plus.
