Your role: Our team supports Healthcare R&D in its mission to bring more medicines to more patients faster. We transform business challenges into digital solutions by combining technical expertise with business understanding. With the growing importance of artificial intelligence for all parts of the research and development process, we are increasingly leveraging AI solutions, built on the cloud, for our business. As part of the team, you will support the definition, design and implementation of new cloud and data analytics solutions. A key focus area will be the use of generative AI solutions like generative pretrained transformers (GPT). With an increasing number of use cases already in production, we are pushing forward the boundaries of applying this innovative technology to improve R&D. This includes hands-on development in support of our team as well as collaborating with the business and other developers.
Who you are:
- Pursuing a bachelor, master’s or PhD degree of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a similar field.
- Curious problem solver who finds creative technical solutions to business problems.
- Strong programming skills, especially Python including scikit learn.
- First experience in cloud environments like AWS, GCP or Azure is helpful.
- Basic experience in building Generative AI (GenAI) applications, such as fine-tuning or deploying large language models (LLMs), is beneficial.
