Your purpose:

As CMO, you will lead the end-to-end marketing strategy, including but not limited to:

  • Turning Zenchef into the category-defining brand for restaurant technology in Europe.

  • Uniting and elevating marketing across acquired companies.

  • Leading the charge into B2C — on strategy, with conviction.

  • Building and inspiring a team of marketing experts who balance brand, growth, performance, and customer love.

  • Being a true sparring partner to the CEO and executive team.

Challenges:

  • Brand architecture: Bring local champions together under one compelling European brand.

  • Demand generation at scale: Drive aggressive B2B growth across multiple sales motions, regions, and maturity stages.

  • B2C market entry: Compete with well-funded incumbents — while staying true to our product, values, and voice.

  • Post-merger integration: Align messaging, processes, and teams across acquired companies and cultures.

  • Eventually building, scaling and leading a no/low-touch PLG motion for SMEs.

‍ What you will do:

  • Identify potential leads using tools like LinkedIn, CRM databases, and industry alerts to build a qualified pipeline

  • Reach out to prospects by email, phone, and social media to start conversations and assess their interest

  • Qualify leads using structured discovery calls to understand fit and readiness

  • Collaborate with Field and Inside Sales to hand over qualified opportunities and refine outreach strategies

  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date to track progress and measure results

  • Test messaging and prospecting approaches to learn what resonates with our audience

  • Attend regular team syncs to share insights, celebrate wins, and improve processes

  • Stay on top of industry trends and restaurant tech news to connect better with our audience


️ What you will bring to the table:

  • Experience with building and scaled marketing in international B2B SaaS environments.

  • You understand how to design multi-channel demand gen engines that fuel commercial growth.

  • You’re just as fluent in brand positioning as you are in performance metrics.

  • Experience with launching or transforming brands at scale — a level of B2C experience is highly desirable.

  • You’ve led large, distributed teams through complexity, change, and growth.

  • You’re a strategic partner to execs and investors — but never too far from the action.

  • Fluent in English; fluency in French, Dutch, or German is a plus.

  • You bring ambition, humility, and drive — and you’re ready to shape what comes next.
