🎯 Your Mission
As our first hire as CMO, you won’t just lead Marketing — you’ll co-lead the company. You’ll own the full go-to-market strategy, from brand positioning to customer acquisition, while also steering the product & pricing roadmap hand-in-hand with the CEO. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who thinks like a founder and executes like an operator.
🧩 What You’ll Own
Product & Pricing Leadership
Define our customer segments and translate insights into product and positioning strategy
Lead market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and white space identification
Own the product portfolio roadmap and work cross-functionally with design and supply
Build and lead pricing and product drop strategy, ensuring commercial traction and brand integrity
Define and iterate the value proposition to reflect brand, performance, and customer impact
Work closely with the CEO and finance team to align pricing strategy with margin and growth targets
Marketing & Growth Strategy
Build the marketing engine from 0: structure the team, define OKRs, hire talent, and lead external partners
Own full-funnel strategy across performance and brand: paid, earned, owned, and shared media
Launch data-informed acquisition and retention initiatives (SEO, Paid Social, Influencer, Partnerships, Activations)
Create an emotional connection with customers through storytelling, UGC, content, and community
Define and track key KPIs including CAC, LTV, ROAS, retention, and brand equity metrics
Leadership & Company Building
Partner closely with the CEO and Board to shape company-wide strategy
Operate with full founder-level ownership and mindset
Build and inspire a world-class marketing and product team from the ground up
Help raise future rounds and represent Kinia in key strategic moments
🧠 Who You Are
7+ years of experience in Marketing, Product or Growth in DTC, consumer or e-commerce brands
Strong analytical thinker with a bias toward execution
Experienced in product strategy, pricing, and positioning
Equal parts brand visionary and performance tactician
Deep believer in emotional, value-driven marketing that resonates
Hands-on, resilient, fast-moving — you think like a founder because you are one
