THE ROLE ️
Our Accounting Executive plays an important role in the company. You will assist our Finance Manager in the smooth execution of accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and compliance with all necessary administrative, legal and fiscal requirements.
YOU WILL ️
- Perform the accounting entries (entire accounting cycle), including journal entries, reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, petty cash, monthly provisions and accruals.
- Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), including invoice processing, payment execution and proactive follow-up on collections.
- Maintain up-to-date balance account reconciliations, providing a reliable view of the company’s financial position.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process, maintaining fluent communication with our fiscal tax advisor to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Play an active role in managing monthly and annual VAT processed across the six countries in which we operate, and support the successful completion of the company’s annual audit.
- Coordinate directly with the Sales team for the execution of the B2B monthly invoicing procedure for all the markets and support them with the analysis and reporting of the B2B Services.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide clear reports to relevant teams on monthly budget deviations.
- Handle service contracts and modifications for providers, B2C, and B2B clients, working independently while coordinating with our legal advisor for support and guidance when necessary.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.
THIS IS YOU ✅
- Hold a degree in economics, business or business administration.
- Bring between 2-4 years of proven experience in administration/accounting already under your belt. Experience in auditing would be a strong plus.
- Possess solid knowledge of NPGC and relevant accounting standards.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
- Have hands-on experience with Contaplus/SAGE or any other major accounting ERP.
- Speak Spanish at an advanced level and English at an intermediate level (or higher).
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbally.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Excel at prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines without losing sight of strategic objectives.
- Have experience working in an international, multicultural environment.
- Show the potential to take on greater responsibilities in the future.
