Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Financial Controller to join our Finance team in AAME. This role will act as a key business partner, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making. The Financial Controller will leverage ITW Toolbox principles to drive growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Operating Analysis and Planning:
Deliver short and long-term financial forecasting and planning.
Analyze market trends.
Support on driving optimization on working capital by improving inventory turnover, DSO, and DPO.
Provide financial support for new product development (CBI), including costing, pricing, and post-launch performance tracking.
Apply ITW Principles (80/20, Product Line Simplification, Segmentation, In-lining, Market Rate of Demand) to drive growth and eliminate complexity.
Support on evaluating investment opportunities.
Financial Reporting and Controls:
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with ITW policies and US GAAP.
Oversee the monthly closing process and prepare financial statements and analysis.
Develop and maintain robust KPI dashboards to support effective business management.
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with financial policies • Communicate financial insights clearly to support strategic decisions.
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to develop and execute Annual and Long Range Plans based on in-depth understanding of business and operations.
Participate to FTB 80/20 process to help develop a vision and support implementation of strategic plans.
Build cross-department credibility, confidence, and collaboration with other functional areas.
People Leadership and Talent Development:
Identify, lead and develop talent in order to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness in meeting company goals. This may include: selecting and on-boarding talent; communicating effectively to foster a culture of engagement, cascading vision, creating goal alignment, and coaching through feedback, development planning and performance management
Use personal influence skills rather than position power to persuade others and gain acceptance of ideas and plans.
Build a strong pipeline of talent to ensure a diverse high performing organization
Job Requirements
Master’s Degree in Finance required (or equivalent work experience)
6+ years of demonstrated experience in financial reporting and analysis, cost reduction, inventory control, tracking and managing costs against a budget, and tracking P&L results required
Ability to exercise independent and sound judgment and solve practical business problems in a prompt manner and often under tight deadlines.
Ability to troubleshoot and manage the risks inherent in growth initiatives that support division strategies.
Strong influence and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment.
Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong IT knowledge with excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Power Point, and General Ledger applications).
Travel up to 10%
