Wood is recruiting for a Pressure Parts & Piping Team Leader to join its Power &Industrial, Steam Generation System (Boilers) business, global leader in the delivery of project, engineering, equipment and technical services to the energy and industrial markets.
- Perform the function of Pressure Part & Piping Engineer including design of boiler pressure parts and piping.
- Perform boiler pressure parts ASME I/ EN 12952 code calculation, stress calculations and material selection, thermal displacement calculations: tubes, headers, drums, transference pipes, etc
- Perform Tanks pressure parts ASME VIII/ EN 13445 code calculation, stress calculations and material selection.
- Perform piping layout into plant layout, piping & supports specifications and calculations according to ASME B31.1 / EN 13480 codes: Piping design conditions, Piping Materials Selection, Piping thickness calculation, Piping stress analysis and supports calculations.
- Boiler and Tanks General Arrangement
- Prepares Pressure parts & Piping technical data sheets, material takeoff and specifications.
- Prepares, verifies and/or approves pressure parts and piping drawings related to the technical calculations performed.
- Check, comment, and approval of boiler pressure parts and piping shop drawings.
- Management and coordination of teams.

- Performs technical calculations and technical reports.
- Assures contract specifications, applicable codes and company procedures are fulfilled..
- Prepares, verifies and/or approves drawings related to his/her technical calculations performed.
- Ensures successful completion of the assigned deliverables per contract requirements within the budgeted time and cost constraints of the project/proposals.
- Provide continuous guidance and support to the team.
- Regularly report on project progress and any additional needs to the Section Manager.
- Reports to the Section Manager any technical project/proposal difficulty and /or out of standard solution to be approved.
- Coordinates and supports the Project Engineering Manager in the technical aspects of the project.

Expected:
- Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- More than 10 years relevant experience in Power Plant Projects
- Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
- Good organization, written and oral skills.
- Knowledge of American and International Standards and Codes.
- User of PV Elite
- User Caesar II and Autocad
- Advanced user of MS Office specially EXCEL
- Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required.
Desirable:
- User experience of Solid works (CAD)
- User of Solid works Simulation or ANSYS (valued positively)
