Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

Take your career to the next level with Amaris Consulting as a Product Owner. Be part of an international team, thrive in a global group with a €800M turnover and over 1,000 clients worldwide, and an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building scalable, high-quality applications and is comfortable working across the entire stack. Spanish fluency is required as part of this role.

✍️WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?✍️

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner (with banking or insurance experience)
  • Strong proficiency with Jira for backend development and project management.
  • Experience with one or more frontend frameworks (nice to have).
  • Solid knowledge of Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira), and version control tools such as Git.
  • Familiarity with product design and agile environments.
  • Proven experience with customer-centric development and web services.
  • Advanced proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Experience working with IT teams in the banking or insurance sector.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Develop and maintain robust web applications using Jira and Confluence for documentation and workflow management.
  • Create efficient, reusable front-end components with a user-centric approach (if applicable).
  • Design, optimize, and maintain project structures to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to deliver an intuitive and customer-oriented experience.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Implement strategic product decisions based on user feedback and business needs.
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in product management and customer experience.
