Role description:

Support the profitable growth of sales of the (G)BA and drive distinct client experiences through leading and winning the most inspiring and strategic pursuits.

Role accountabilities:

Pursuit Leadership

  • Lead Cross GBA, multi-country pursuitsthrough The Arcadis Way Pursuit to Win activities to completion including, develop winning proposals, short list interviews and pursuit close out activities
    • Active engagement of Executive Pursuit Committee at required touchpoints
    • Identify pursuit team, including working with Bid Manager to identify Commercial Enablement resources ensuring we have the best team
    • Develop appropriate commercial strategies for the pursuit
    • Identify sustainability and digital initiatives to drive pursuit success
    • Lead pursuit teams in key pursuit discussions (M.O.R.E., Win Room, etc.) to develop win strategy
    • Author technical elements of proposals, developing content that is tailored to the client’s requirements and aligned to identified win strategy (e.g., key messages / win themes)
    • Development and effective management of pursuit budget
    • Accountable to ensure OSC is updated and CollaborationHub SP site is active for the pursuit
    • Ensure CX across all pursuit stages
  • ••Capture lessons learned that feed into other pursuits across GBA
    • Identify continuous improvement of pursuit processes, systems and tools to contribute to improved efficiencies to improve CX and ideal project delivery models

Drive Sales Excellence:

    • Collaborate with Account Leader on necessary client interactions, including attending relevant industry forums and conferences
    • Conduct post selection debrief with client and pursuit team to drive lessons learned/ best practice sharing
    • Drive seamless delivery, high GEC usage, stretch our digital and sustainability propositions
    • Recognize commercial strategies (margin, profitability, profitability with each individual country etc.) and ability to coordinate with finance and legal (currency exchange, etc.)

People

    • Actively participate in CoP, offering best practices and lessons learned
    • Lead a diverse internal pursuit team, setting objectives, managing performance and ensuring that staff have necessary skills to deliver pursuit and organizational objectives
