We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Program/Project Manager with Pharmaceutical experience. You will have a solid track record in managing complex SAP implementation and transformation projects. You should have comprehensive knowledge spanning across multiple SAP products, ranging from ECC to SAP S/4HANA, and SAP RISE. You will have pharmaceutical experience (both commercial and manufacturing) from a large global company.

The Senior Program Manager ERP is responsible for managing the design, deployment, and delivery of highly complex ERP programs. This role oversees internal and external teams, maintaining control of progress, quality, and budget through strong governance, while ensuring delivery in accordance with business strategy. The Senior Program Manager ERP also acts as the primary point of contact for all program-related escalations, ensuring smooth transitions to operations and optimal planning and execution of all activities associated with the program. Additionally, this role collaborates effectively with business and IT stakeholders, as well as strategic suppliers, to ensure the successful delivery of the programs. It provides transparent and accurate project reporting, manages risks and issues, and ensures adherence to security and compliance policies within the program scope.

Major accountabilities:

  • Manage the delivery of internal and outsourced programs, from initiation until transition to operations
  • Monitor and control program execution, establish governance, manage risks and issues.
  • Ensure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools and practices
  • Deliver programs on time and within budget and meet the desired business objectives
  • Provide transparent and accurate project / program reporting including overall performance of the project / program and respective documentation completion
  • Own program status, issues and risks through appropriate channels / tools and ensure that these are reported back to agreed governance bodies (e.g., Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management.
  • Accountable to ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams, technology Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services to the project / program

Key performance indicators:

  • Programs are effectively managed, enabling them to be on time, on budget and to the expected quality level.
  • Customer / stakeholder satisfaction
  • Adherence to applicable Security and Compliance policies and controls; defined project management methodologies, tools, and practices; and to delivery processes for IT projects
  • Successful deployments, measured by project KPI’s
  • Benefits delivered by portfolio ($, risk mitigation, technology innovation, value added)

Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:

  • Master of Science degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science or related field
  • Certification or accreditation in project management methods (Agile, ITIL, Prince 2, PMI) is a plus

Skills:

  • 15+ years of experience in IT program management
  • Experience in running multi-year, global ERP implementations in a large enterprise
  • S olid track record in managing complex SAP implementation and transformation projects
  • You will have pharmaceutical experience (both commercial and manufacturing) from a large global company.
  • Experience analysing stakeholder requirements, organizing and planning, managing across functions and boundaries, aligning people and resources, timely decision making, high quality financial and management reporting, problem solving, managing budgets
  • Experience with multiple frameworks including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in an IT organization.
  • Experience with change management through process engineering and/or participating in large-scale IT change / transformation programs
  • Experienced in guiding and developing teams across wide geographies & in collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to align a strategic IT service portfolio with business needs.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills to present features and solution recommendations to senior stakeholders.
