How you will CELLebrate
Tasks
- Propel project progress within the value stream, ensuring alignment with timelines, cost budgets, and specifications.
- Proactively identify issues, risks, and opportunities—collaborating closely with line functions to develop effective solutions.
- Escalate unresolved issues and critical decision points to the Production Area Lead when they fall outside the value stream’s scope.
- Maintain up-to-date and consistent tracking of timelines (Primavera plans), risks, opportunities, and issues reports, ensuring proactive management.
- Serve as the voice of the Value Stream area in stakeholder forums, including shop floor walks and strategic meetings.
- Organize and manage plant and construction-side activities to guarantee seamless coordination.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges, such as collisions, and ensure all necessary permits and readiness requirements are met.
- Upstream and downstream Value Stream Managers
- Value Stream Planners (Building, BSI, Equipment Planning) and other operations line functions
- Procurement Teams
- Plant Operations Organization (“Betriebsorganisation”)
What you need for our CELLebration
- Hands-on leader with proven experience managing operational teams in a manufacturing setting.
- Skilled at setting daily priorities and orchestrating cross-functional collaboration to meet objectives.
- Experienced in managing contractors, vendors, and equipment suppliers during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Possesses a sophisticated “planner mindset,” anticipating obstacles and planning ahead proactively.
- Deep expertise in battery manufacturing processes, with a solid grasp of battery-specific infrastructure to guide factory setup.
- Well-versed in production ramp-up planning, including materials readiness and process stability.
- Exceptionally organized, with a strong commitment to operational excellence.
- Approachable communicator, fostering open and effective dialogue across teams.
- Capable of delivering quick, high-level impact assessments followed by thorough, detailed analyses to inform precise decision-making.
What else can you bring
- Demonstrates adaptability to shifting priorities and demands.
- Please submit your CV in English.
- Bachelor´s degree in Engineering or equally valid to possess relevant professional experience in the battery industry.
- More than 3 years experience in battery sector.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
