Quality Documentation Specialist
Job Summary:
The Quality Documentation Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining all quality-related documentation for photovoltaic tracker manufacturing. This role ensures compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and quality standards by developing, reviewing, and organizing quality control records. The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that all quality documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for audits and process improvements.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, compliance records, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all documentation complies with industry regulations and company quality management systems.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary quality records and documentation.
- Work closely with quality control, engineering, and production teams to ensure accurate documentation of processes and procedures.
- Implement and maintain document control processes to ensure accessibility and traceability.
- Review and update quality procedures to align with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Train employees on proper documentation procedures and quality control processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives related to document management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field or proved experience in the field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality documentation or a similar role within the photovoltaic, renewable energy, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of document control systems, quality management principles, and industry regulations.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the photovoltaic or renewable energy sector.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, and other environmental or safety management systems.
- Certification in quality management systems or document control (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor, CQIA).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
