NBS is looking to focus on getting the undergraduates future-ready and well-placed to enter the workforce through targeted interventions. This is also in line with MOE’s direction in recent years to help AUs strengthen placement capabilities.
The role will cover critical areas of career development training of all NBS students which may include any new or existing initiatives. This will differentiate the NBS undergraduate programmes and the career preparation and work readiness of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curate mandatory high value career development programs for undergraduates.
- Enlist premier industry employers from different specialisations to teach students.
- Harness strong industry connections to develop quality programmes for work readiness.
- Knowledge and skills to keep pace with the rapid technological changes in today’s increasingly competitive economy and industrial landscape.
- Strategizing and organizing industry networking events for students.
Key Qualifications/ Competencies:
- Tertiary education with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Training and/or experience in career development facilitation, learning and development, human resource, psychology, counselling and/or coaching, education, early careers
- Resourceful, enterprising, proactive, visionary, possess a positive attitude and achievement oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport, a good listener with strong business writing and communication skills
- Keeps updated on the latest technology trends, salaries, market trends, occupation insights and future job skills.
- Able to define and analyze key performance metrics, to monitor success of initiatives, optimize the approach and report on course impact
