The Associate Director of Talent Management will oversee and enhance our established talent management programmes, as well as the rollout of new features within the current performance management tool. They will lead the ongoing refinement of our performance evaluation framework, working closely with each department to review and optimise objectives and KPIs, reinforce a data-driven approach to performance assessment, and champion professional development initiatives that foster engagement and high performance.

We are seeking a candidate to fill a full-time position in Madrid, located at the IE Tower.
Responsibilities
Your role an Associate Director will involve:
- Own the Performance Cycle: Lead the full annual performance management cycle—from goal setting to mid-year reviews and year-end evaluations—ensuring a smooth process and a culture of meaningful, growth-oriented feedback.
- Champion Fairness & Alignment: Promote consistency and equity by aligning individual and team goals with IE’s broader strategy, reinforcing a high-performance culture.
- Empower Leaders: Support managers in crafting impactful SMART objectives and KPIs, offering best-practice frameworks and tools that raise the quality and consistency of goal setting across departments.
- Turn Data into Action: Design and maintain interactive dashboards that visualize performance trends. Use insights from key metrics to shape talent decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Shape the Talent Agenda: Collaborate in building the annual talent management plan, defining bold yet achievable KPIs that move the function forward.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Master´s degree from a top University, preferably within the field of Human Resources or similar.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- 3+ years HR related experience with a strong focus on performance management or talent analytics.
- Solid analytical skills, including proficiency with data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau) or advanced Excel.
- Team player with a “can do” attitude.
- Experience within the educational sector is a plus.
