Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a BI Engineer
• Proven experience developing analytical tables in the Snowflake data warehouse
• Proficiency with Tableau and other BI tools/platforms (e.g., Power BI, Looker)
• Extensive experience with Python
• Experience with Jira, GitHub, and documentation best practices
• Experience working with cloud solutions (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, GCP, S3, Redshift, Lambda, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across different teams and departments
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience working in Agile environments (nice to have)

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Develop and maintain analytical tables in the Snowflake data warehouse
• Transform data into actionable insights to support business decision-making
• Ensure data integrity and quality across multiple environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective BI solutions
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and other BI tools
• Document processes, data models, and solutions for transparency and knowledge sharing
• Utilize Jira and GitHub for project tracking and version control
