Job description
As part of our organizational development and to support our growth, we are looking for a Bid Manager to join our office in Madrid.
You will be responsible for the study and costing of turnkey project proposals. Your key role is to strengthen the quality of our studies prior to contract signing and to ensure their implementation during the execution phase. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Understanding and analyzing the client’s needs,
- Defining the design of technical proposals and suitable cost estimates based on the nature of the input data (preliminary studies, conceptual designs, etc.),
- Identifying risks and opportunities and participating in project qualification decisions,
- Taking on the role of project lead during the offer phase, including planning, supervising studies, and managing supplier/subcontractor consultations,
- Acting as the client’s main point of contact in collaboration with the Business Development Manager,
- Drafting commercial and technical proposals,
- Presenting offers to the client and participating in negotiations,
- Monitoring technological and market developments,
- Formalizing feedback (lessons learned) to enhance internal tools.
Profile
This position is intended for a candidate with a generalist or technical engineering background and significant experience in managing complex, high-value projects. You are skilled in preparing proposals, have knowledge of building construction, and are familiar with cost estimation tools. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English is essential. You are known for your leadership, attentiveness, strong analytical skills, and rigor.
