And at the European Shared Services Center based in Cornellà de Llobregat, with more than 300 employees, we support the group's various subsidiaries of all Europe and other regions. We have built an outstanding multicultural environment composed by employees of around 30 different nationalities.
We are looking for a motivated, systematic and analytical person to join our team as a Billing analyst for our office in Cornellá (Barcelona).
You will have the ability to perform transactional tasks with speed and accuracy, while at the same time having the focus on identifying the possibilities of automation and simplification.
As a Billing analyst you will:
Ensure Billing Accuracy: Oversee both automated and manual invoice processing to guarantee accuracy and compliance. Maintain thorough documentation and ensure proper archiving of billing records.
Customer-Centric Billing Management: Configure and update customer-specific billing preferences, including electronic invoice delivery, data interfaces, and public sector invoicing solutions.
Data Analysis & Issue Resolution: Perform data analysis to identify discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and respond to internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner.
Support Financial Reporting: Contribute to accurate internal accounting and reporting by applying systematic processes and ensuring error-free data handling.
Process Improvement: Participate in the development and implementation of new billing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Role requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll at least need!
Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Professional Experience: 2–3 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in administrative, financial, or customer service roles.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze data, identify issues, and propose effective solutions, with strong attention to detail.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Positive and collaborative attitude in dynamic environments.
Organization & Time Management: Highly organized, with strong task prioritization skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Nice to have's
SAP would be beneficial.
Experience with ERP systems or billing tools is a plus.
