Summary:
The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for managing the marketing processes in Hyperion’s CRM and Marketing Automation System so that Hyperion can deliver accurate marketing campaigns, capture engagement data and track campaign responses to revenue. This role will help make data actionable for the Marketing, Revenue Operations and Sales teams so that the organization can create better, more effective marketing initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes on Hyperion’s strategy for marketing automation using Hyperion’s CRM & marketing automation system. (MS Dynamics 365).
- Works with Marketing & Revenue Operations teams to define requirements for marketing reporting from CRM and ERP data to drive marketing effectiveness and actionable growth strategies.
- Provides input from Marketing to the Commercial Systems Teams on roadmap requirements for the CRM & Marketing Automation System.
- Builds forms, templates, journeys and segments in the Marketing Automation system to support execution of marketing elements.
- Collaborates closely with Sales to align lead scoring and nurturing strategies, and with Revenue Operations to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Brings new technologies and processes for marketing automation and nurturing, tests and then develops plans for execution.
- Manages and executes qualification processes on key CRM elements that are required to execute more effective marketing campaigns.
- Collaborates with marketing colleagues to develop and launch effective processes related to the marketing automation system.
- Serves as the first triage point for issues related to the Marketing Automation system.
- Supports the development of marketing and sales support strategies using CRM data.
- Monitors the impact of marketing on CRM account growth, contact growth, lead growth and opportunity growth.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, MIS or similar.
- 2+ years working in a database marketing role, including the use of a CRM in a B2C or B2B environment.
- Use of MS Dynamics CMS and/or Marketing Automation system is strongly preferred, but experience with other systems including SalesForce and Hubspot are acceptable
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and proficiency in Excel or SQL for data manipulation is preferred.
- Self-starter, highly motivated with excellent business-wide communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of technical products.
- Experience collaborating with various stakeholders and 3rd party consultants/vendors in a global environment a plus.
Technical Skills:
- PC/desk work including reading/typing. Ability to work flexible schedules/extended hours on occasion to collaborate with partners in Europe and Asia. Occasional travel to visit customers or consultants.
- Ability to travel globally <10% of the time.
