How you will contribute
You will:
- Technical Leadership: Spearhead the technical development and architectural design at the global level, focusing on scalability, data integrity, and seamless integration capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with organizational stakeholders to gather requirements, pinpoint technical gaps, and engineer solutions that enhance data utility and consumer insights.
- Data Integration Strategy: Lead the strategy for integrating diverse data sources and systems across the Data Ecosystem, ensuring robust, secure, and compliant data flows.
- Collaboration & Planning: Collaborate with the Product Manager to detail technical specifications, roadmaps, and quality standards, with an emphasis on achieving top-tier performance, security, and privacy benchmarks.
- Technology Guidance: Direct interactions with Architecture, Application/Platform, and Technical Product teams to guide technology selections, favoring scalable and cost-effective solutions.
- Compliance & Security: Uphold stringent adherence to Mondelēz's Infosec and Privacy standards through proactive engagement with relevant internal teams, applying privacy by design principles throughout the lifecycle.
- Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship: Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving through workshops and design thinking sessions with global and regional teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What you will bring

- Strong knowledge of data needed for Enterprise Operational Planning
- Working knowledge of o9 as a planning tool and its data requirements
- Technical experience in roles in best-in-class analytics practices
- Experience deploying new analytical approaches in a complex and highly matrixed organization
- Savvy in the usage of analytics techniques to create business impact
- Familiarity with data catalog, metadata, and lineage tools (e.g., Collibra).
- Familiarity with Data Quality rules and tools like Ataccama, and Data observability tools like Datadog.
- Understanding of data governance and data mesh concepts.
- Agile delivery mindset with a strong emphasis on automation and reusability.
- 10–12+ years of experience in any combination of data analytics, data science, business intelligence, and data engineering.
- Hands-on knowledge of analytical and visualization platforms (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Databricks etc.)
- Advanced SQL, DAX, and Power BI Desktop development skills
- Experience managing global teams and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

Good to have 'Google Professional Data Engineer' and 'DataCamp Data Engineer in Python' Certification
Job specific requirements:
- CPG/FMCG Data Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in cross-functional CPG/FMCG data and domains.
- GCP Proficiency: Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, with hands-on experience in architecting and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions for data processing, reporting, and analytics.
- Data Integration Mastery: Advanced skills in data integration techniques, ETL processes, and familiarity with APIs and web services for connecting disparate data sources in a secure and efficient manner.
- Team Leadership & Project Management: Extensive experience in leading technical teams and managing complex IT projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Data & Integration Technologies: Robust background in data and integration technologies and digital transformation initiatives, with a strong experience in data-driven enterprise transformation programs.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical visions and strategies to a diverse audience, fostering cross-functional collaboration and consensus.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strategic and analytical thinker, adept at setting technical direction, prioritizing projects, and mobilizing teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Eager to embrace new technologies, methodologies, and industry developments, with a commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.
- GCP Analytics & ML (Preferred): Familiarity with GCP's analytics and machine learning services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, AI Platform, and their application in enhancing consumer data insights and personalization efforts.
Travel requirements:
- This role requires 10-15% travel.
