B. Braun is seeking a Global Group Product Manager that will be leading the marketing team of the specified group of products in Aesculap’s OR Supply. You will be responsible for leading the team in order to drive growth to the business and category leadership by developing a wide product pipeline within surgical sutures as well as ensuring that our local partners in each country have the product, tools and support they need to success. This role will work closely with Tuttlingen’s Global Marketing.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the team of Global Product Managers
- Define op and direct product management and product marketing activities for specified ORS portfolio
- Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research
- Provide sales team with technical expertise to enable them to sell the products
- Responsible for printed and electronic material, product training and competitors update
- Ensure that these materials are being used optimally
- Act as point of first reference for all product related enquiries from markets
- Work closely together with other departments in new product developments and other product related projects
- Responsible for preparing product forecast to ensure production and supply timelines
Professional competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, with postgraduate studies in Marketing desired
- 8+ years as Product Manager in Medical Device, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry
- Solid knowledge of Medical Devices Industry
- Strong presentation and communication skills with proven ability to prepare business reports and speak effectively in front of groups of customers, employees and Company management
- Excellent English skills
