About the role
What you'll do
Develop strategies and work closely with the Technology and Data team to build systems and integrations to produce reliable cash flow statements, and forecasts, and optimize the company's cash position.Monitor and control the flow of cash coming into and going out of the organization, helping ensure the company’s business and investment needs are met.
Project /forecast cash flow in and out and determine if the organization will have enough cash to meet its business plan.
Work closely with, and co-ordinate, other Finance colleagues in order to manage the cash position and reporting (e.g. Accounting, Corporate Finance team managing the Debt Facilities etc.).
Resolve any issues related to foreign currency exchange.
Safeguard, verify and control all cash assets.
Establish and develop banking relationships together with the Head of Accounting.
Establish and maintain cash movement policies, procedures, and controls.
Prepare and deliver treasury reports (reconciled cash balances, cash flow statements, cash projections etc.).
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cash management effectiveness.
Ensure ongoing compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards regarding cash management.

What you’ll need
A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required, as is experience in cash management and preferably in a FinTech / Financial institution.Experience working with Technology and Back-end developers is essential.
Experience with accounting or cash management applications is desired.
Maintain stakeholder relationships.
Risk ownership.
Excellent relationship management skills, good communication skills, with proven ability to influence others.
A team player who has executed projects, led workstreams and delivered results in a collaborative manner.
Good written and verbal language skills in English and preferably Spanish.
