We support our clients delivering a broad portfolio of consulting services spanning all stages of the innovation lifecycle, from alliance building and funding support, to pilot deployment, tool development and communications.

We are specialised in different focus areas related to global societal challenges allowing us to accompany our clients at the more strategic level. From the energy transition and urban greening to healthcare innovation and mobility, every client receives committed support from our team of 75 innovation specialists.

The position

Key Responsibilities include:

We are currently offering one position as an Innovation Consultant for our teams working on Business Development & EU Programmes. You will be working at our Barcelona headquarters with fellow team members, supporting different focus areas in identifying business leads, developing commercial offers and proposals according to clients’ needs and contributing to the strategic development of the company overall. Your main tasks will be focused on:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, reinforcing our value proposition across focus areas and expanding our portfolio of strategic consulting services with existing and prospective clients.

  • Supporting the entire sales pipeline of the focus areas’ teams, from lead generation and offer development to negotiations management. Developing, securing and managing strategic partnerships (e.g. framework contracts).

  • Monitoring calls for funding and tenders, exploring new opportunities at EU level, playing a key role in project & proposal development.

  • Representing the company at target conferences and events, engaging with key EU stakeholders in our markets to reinforce and expand our innovation network
The candidates we are seeking

We seek fast-learning candidates who have affinity with sustainability and innovation, and strong ambition for fast professional growth in a highly specialised consultancy firm.

  • Background and profile: dedicated education on international relations, EU studies, business administration and/or sales management (Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s is a plus). We look for profiles reflecting specific interest in the mix between business, innovation and sustainability.

  • Languages: professional English, both written and oral, is essential. Additionally, we value fluency in our clients’ native languages such as Dutch, German, French and Spanish.

  • Communication & facilitation skills: we expect a great deal of autonomy and pro-activity, being able to communicate professionally with partners and clients, managing and leading discussions and public presentations.
  • Analytical and sales skills: ability to analyse market data and business KPIs, establish and develop long-term commercial relationships, manage and lead negotiations.

  • Relevant experience and additional expertise: we seek candidates with a baseline of 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in the domains of EU relations, business development and sales management; it will be a strong plus for candidates proving experience either in strategy consultancy or other innovation management positions as well as experience with EU funding programmes.
