The Installation Specialist supports the team (remotely and occasionally on field) in understanding.
hardware and software problems related to the Lockers network, interfacing with the staff working in the field to maintain and repair the machines, coordinating their work to ensure efficient troubleshooting. The Technical Specialist provides second line support, attempting remote repair actions and investigating machine logs to understand the nature of faults. The role requires a technically competent candidate with excellent coordination and communication skills.
The Technical Specialist is based in Madrid, operates mainly remotely, and occasionally carries out on-site interventions.
What responsibilities and objectives will you have?
- Acquire in-depth technical knowledge (at mechanical and software level) of the Lockers.
- Supervising and coordinating installations and maintenance activities necessary to expand the network of Lockers in Iberia.
- Analysing the performance of the resources, identifying areas for improvement and preventive or corrective actions, for the smooth operation of the network of Lockers, in terms of reliability and performance.
- Analysis of the causes of reported problems, operating remotely when possible.
- Preparation and updating of procedures and documentation relating to the operation and improvement of the Lockers network.
- Using internal software to monitor the performance and operation of the Lockers network.
- Carrying out periodic checks on the state of operation and performance of the Lockers, in compliance with current legislation and group policy.
- Coordination with the technical central team, in order to resolve critical system issues.
- Carrying out training sessions for third parties providers.
Well, what will the requirements be?
- At least 2 or 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, and ability to understand complex systems.
- Previous experience in hardware and software maintenance roles, on electronic equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, interpret and manipulate monitoring dashboards and system logs.
- Coordinate technical personnel.
- Work alone and in a team.
- Previous experience in roles requiring repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.
- Able to work independently, setting deadlines.
- Knowledge of Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good level of English, written and spoken.
- Driving licence (type B).
