Manager Business Process Logistics Operations Iberia
The person in this role is responsible for driving excellence in logistics operations through EHS, quality, compliance, and LEAN. Responsibilities include optimizing processes, supporting improvement projects, and promoting safety, quality, and environmental standards across operations in Spain and Portugal. The role holder shall interface and best practice within our Logistics Operations Business Process functions. The role holder will also interface with Compliance, Process Excellence, RAQA, Process Owners, Commercial divisions, Finance, Global EHS, Customer Experience and Procurement.

The role holder will also interface with Compliance, Process Excellence, RAQA, Process Owners, Commercial divisions, Finance, Global EHS, Customer Experience and Procurement.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) laws and company standards, promoting a strong safety culture
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate workplace hazards
- Follow up on incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning
- Perform regular audits and inspections to uphold high safety and environmental standards.
- Validate and ensure that all operational machinery is serviced regularly and maintained to the highes standards by coordinating with internal maintenance teams and external vendors
- Continuously drive improvements in EHS programs to foster a safe and sustainable workplace
- Drive, develop and support sustainability programs that support ISO standards as well as corporate goals
- Spearhead and manage local Safety Committee in alignment with stakeholders
Quality Assurance
- Build and maintain a strong culture of quality across Logistics operations
- Act as a quality ambassador, ensuring continuous follow-up on NC´s and CAPA´s in Track wise
- Support functional managers as audit designee for Operations in internal, corporate, and external audits programs, collaborating with relevant process owners
- Support continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring CAPAs are effectively investigated and closed in a timely manner together with process owners
- Together with process owners ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) are up to date and in place to ensure site operations align with corporate and regional processes
- Cultivate relationships and collaborate with colleagues across functions and divisions, such as RAQA, Compliance, Global EHS, and Process owners, to achieve team goals and improve processes
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Ensure proper execution of GEMBA management, including 6S audits and provide coaching to maintain high operational standards
- Guide 6S Kaizen events to improve workplace organization and efficiency
- Partner with the Process Excellence team to drive improvement and standardization projects
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external partners and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards according to company policies
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs for team members on LEAN methodologies, quality assurance practices, and regulatory compliance to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to enhance operational efficiency
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and engagement across teams
Education
Essential:
- University degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent work experience
- English speaking (Professional Working Proficiency in English communication)
Desired:
- EHS qualifications an advantage
Experience
Essential:
- 5+ years of post-graduate experience required
- Project Management experience required
- Proven experience in warehouse and kit operation
- Must understand Logistic s& Commercial Operations including inherent interactions and interdependencies
Desired:
- ISO 9001/14001/45001 internal auditor certification or Diploma in quality and/or EHS/OHS
- Experience in LEAN tools
