An experienced DevOps Engineer is sought for a dynamic role based in Barcelona, Spain, with 7+ years of expertise in designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient software delivery systems. Proven proficiency in containerization using Docker and artifact management with Jfrog Artifactory has been demonstrated to streamline application deployment. CI/CD pipelines have been optimized using Jenkins, with Groovy scripting employed to enhance automation and integration. Automation of infrastructure and workflows has been achieved using Ansible and Python, significantly improving operational efficiency. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams has ensured the delivery of high-performance, secure solutions aligned with business goals. Expertise spans both Windows and Linux environments, with additional experience in Kubernetes, dashboard creation, system monitoring, and mentoring junior developers in a hybrid work model.
In this role, you will:
Develop and maintain scalable software solutions using Docker Container and Jfrog Artifactory to ensure efficient deployment and management of applications.
Implement automation scripts using Ansible and Python to streamline processes and enhance productivity across development teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions that meet business needs and technical specifications.
Optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of software updates and features.
Utilize Groovy scripting to customize and extend Jenkins functionalities for improved automation and integratio.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of applications.
Work closely with network operations teams to integrate software solutions that enhance network performance and security.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes and tools.
Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
What you need to have to be considered:
7+ years of experience in DevOps
Proficiency in CI/CD Pipelines
Proficiency in optimizing CI-CD pipelines
Proficiency in containerization using dockers
Experience in creating dash boards
Excellent debugging skills
Experience in windows and Linux environments
Experience in Kubernetes
Experience with agile development methodologies.
