*Middleware Engineer - 12 months+ contract - Madrid, Spain (Hybrid)*
RED Global is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our top clients is looking for an experienced Middleware Engineer. This is a long-term contract position with hybrid working in Madrid.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term contract
Location: Madrid (Hybrid - 2-3 days on-site)
Language: Spanish
Key Skills & Experience:
- +5 years of experience in Middleware infrastructure roles
- Strong background in web server administration (Apache, .NET, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic)
- Experience with deployment, migration, and optimization of infrastructure supporting enterprise applications
- Solid understanding of infrastructure for integration and web publishing
- Hands-on experience with HAProxy
- Familiarity with OpenShift and DevOps practices (GIT, Ansible automation)
- Knowledge of Squid is a plus
- Comfortable working with development teams and managing advanced configurations

- Able to take ownership of technical deployments and system improvements
